LIVORNO. Si è svolta all’interno della caserma “Pisacane” di Livorno, la cerimonia per il cambio del fregio metallico da basco del 185° Reggimento Ricognizione Acquisizione Obiettivi “Folgore” (RRAO). La cerimonia, alla quale hanno partecipato le principali autorità civili e militari toscane, è stata presenziata dal sottocapo di Stato Maggiore dell’Esercito, Generale di Corpo d’Armata Giovan Battista Borrini che ha consegnato al comandante di reggimento, Colonnello Maurizio Fronda.
L’ambito fregio che segna la naturale conclusione della fase di riconnotazione simbolica del Reggimento iniziata nel 2013 con l’assunzione della bandiera di guerra del 185° Fanteria Paracadutista.
Il nuovo fregio è quello appartenuto, durante il secondo conflitto mondiale, allo Squadrone da Ricognizione Folgore (Squadrone F), nato dopo l’8 settembre 1943 e composto da uomini del 185° Reggimento Fanteria Paracadutisti. Lo Squadrone F condusse una serie di missioni, l’ultima delle quali fu l’operazione “Herring”, un aviolancio in pianura padana effettuato il 20 aprile 1945.
Ritorniamo a Bomba sul terrorismo e su come, secondo gli annunci dei nostri Politici, l’Italia sia preparata a fronteggiarlo.
Gia ieri e nei giorni scorsi ho pubblicato alcuni articoli dove paleso la mancanza di strategia e preparazione da parte della nostra classe politica in materia di Terrorismo.
In fatti, se da un lato si affannano a fare dichiarazioni rassicuranti, dall’altro tutti (anche coloro i quali non conoscono bene la materia) ci rendiamo conto che la nostra preparazione e la reale volontà’ di fronteggiare seriamente la questione Terrorismo non sembra proprio esserci.
Non e’ sicuramente novità che gli annunci dei nostri politici alle continue minacce di terrorismo siano in parte fatte solo per calmare gli animi e l’opinione pubblica, insomma non e’ certamente spaventando il popolo che si può’ fronteggiare una minaccia invisibile (almeno fino a quando non si palesa uccidendo decine di innocenti). Ma probabilmente, quello che troppo spesso viene dimenticato, e che alle parole bisogna sempre seguire con i fatti, altrimenti, come sempre, ci ritroveremo a passare le nostre giornate sperando che mai nulla succeda in Italia.
Allora, dopo aver urlato ai quattro venti che siamo sicuri, che le nostre forze dell’ordine sono preparate, che i nostri servizi lavorano incessantemente per prevenire ogni possibile minaccia, scopriamo che con l’invasione dei Clandestini e l’operazione Mare Nostrum abbiamo “indirettamente” finanziato il terrorismo” (ISIS Guadagna dai Clandestini), scopriamo che le nostre manovre e leggi riguardo l’antiterrorismo sono comunque ancora “in alto mare” (Antiterrorismo all’Italiana…), e ci rendiamo conto che in realtà, l’unica barriera tra noi ed i terroristi e’ costituita dall’ottimo lavoro di singoli uomini che vengono comunque “abbandonati” a se stessi, al punto che (come leggerete dall’articolo lincato alla fine di questo mio commento) i poliziotti chiamati a controllare i nodi cruciali, ed a vegliare sulla nostra sicurezza, non solo sono in numero esiguo, ma addirittura si ritrovano a lavorare con gli stessi mezzi che avevano forse nel dopoguerra… nemmeno un giubbotto antiproiettile!
Probabilmente sarebbe necessario postare e pubblicare ogni santo giorno foto e filmati degli attentati che recentemente hanno creato il panico nel mondo occidentale, iniziando dal più’ recente, dove due pazzi allo sbaraglio, armati di fucili obsoleti ed imprecisi, sono riusciti a mettere sotto sopra una città’ come Parigi e a mettere in fuga una macchina della polizia accorsa sul posto (e loro hanno sicuramente equipaggiamenti migliori dei migliori equipaggiamenti dei nostri uomini)… oppure come in Canada un pazzo isolato sia riuscito a mettere il panico a Ottawa… Il terrorismo e’ di persè un atto infimo che può’ essere perpetrato da chiunque in qualunque momento contro chiunque. E sicuramente, avere delle forze dell’ordine che (a parte un profondo impegno dell’individuo) si muovono con equipaggiamenti obsoleti, senza elementi di protezione, senza strumenti reali di controllo (metal detector, cani addestrati, armi efficienti, addestramento specifico etc.) non può’ far altro che farci vedere come un obbiettivo facile!
Credere che il solo fatto di indossare un uniforme ed avere un M12 come arma primaria sia sufficiente a deterrere ed eventualmente fermare un terrorista e’ solo follia! Certo, un arma migliore, un addestramento specifico, un giubbotto antiproiettile, uno scanner per borse etc, non impediranno mai che un pazzo armato possa perpetrare un attentato terroristico, ma certamente permetteranno al personale incaricato di fermarlo magari prima che effettui una strage!
Concludo lasciandovi poi all’articolo “sfogo/verità” del poliziotto della Polfer di Bologna, dicendo che la nostra classe politica dovrebbe smetterla di parlare e magari incominciare ad agire. Invece di tagliare il budget li dove ora come ora serve seriamente, tagliassero spese di minore importanza e si dedicassero realmente alla prevenzione e lotta al terrorismo; in fin dei conti, un terrorista, non attacca solo il popolo inerme, attacca anche chi lo “guida”, quindi e’ sicuramente anche loro convenienza avere in atto un dispositivo serio, seriamente equipaggiato e seriamente preparato.

(CNN)Kurdish fighters have taken the Syrian city of Kobani from ISIS’ grip after 112 days of fighting with the Sunni extremist group, multiple sources said Monday.
The announcement comes a day after an Iraqi official declared that Iraq’s Diyala Province had been “liberated” from ISIS.
Idriss Nassan, Kobani’s deputy foreign minister, told CNN he expects an official announcement Tuesday “if things continue this way.”
“YPG is in control,” Nassan said, using the acronym for the People’s Protection Units. “They are making sure to clear the streets and the places from ISIS to declare it a free city.”
Sul caso di Salvatore e Massimo si e’ detto molto. A parte i pareri contrastanti del pubblico, che da casa ama sempre dare facili giudizi di colpevolezza, e talune volte anche facili assoluzioni, in questi quasi tre anni di “prigionia” abbiamo visto decine di articoli o servizi televisivi che riprendevano il Caso di Salvatore e Massimo, descrivendo le tante ragioni per il quale loro dovrebbero essere valutati Innocenti. (il dovrebbero non intende che io abbia differente opinione, ma semplicemente che per uno statuto di uguaglianza, nel momento in cui si formulano delle accuse si pone il dubbio che una persona possa essere innocente o colpevole)
Se pur io rimango dell’opinione che cercare una prova di innocenza o colpevolezza dovrebbe avvenire solo dopo aver portato A PRIORI Salvatore e Massimo in Italia (come vorrebbero le numerose leggi ed accordi vari internazionali), a leggere la notizia che segue mi nasce un sentimento di rabbia profonda.
Analizzando a sangue freddo la notizia, e cercando di fermare la prima euforia (Si, finalmente una prova tangibile per tutti… beh una delle tante poi si dirà!) mi viene da chiedermi perché una e-mail, che quindi rimane normalmente nella memoria di svariati sistemi informatici (computer di mittente e ricevente, server vari, gestore del servizio internet etc.) esca SOLO DOPO OLTRE 1000 GIORNI!
alla luce di quanto sopra, mi chiedo quindi, chi e perché avesse interesse a tenere questa mail nascosta, oppure (seppur lo ritengo imperdonabilmente impossibile) per quale motivo nessuno prima di oggi abbia pensato a vedere e verificare le mail trasmesse dalla nave!
Scriverò meglio nei prossimi giorni di Pirateria e tutte le procedure che una nave deve mettere in atto al momento di un possibile attacco, ma da esperto del settore, vi dico che chiunque si fosse trovato ad investigare sulla faccenda avrebbe dovuto immediatamente richiedere copia di ogni messaggio trasmesso ed avvenuto nel momento in cui si verifico’ l’incidente! se non e’ stato fatto, o e’ per una negligenza che ha dell’incredibile o per degli interessi differenti!
Vi lascio all’articolo, rimanendo nella speranza che per Salvatore e Massimo si giunga ad una fine certa nel più’ breve tempo possibile!

Il comandante del cargo avvisò per posta elettronica di aver subito un attacco dai predoni alle 19.15, e l’orario dimostra l’estraneità dei fucilieri rispetto agli eventi legati all’uccisione dei pescatori. L’armatore del peschereccio S. Antony, infatti, ha sempre dichiarato che gli spari contro i suoi due pescatori si sono registrati alle 21.30.
I do not want to step into politics, but allowed me to provide an harsh comment to the EU counter terrorism Project (and of course actual status)!
As short introduction, I think important to underline how and when Europe got the “Union” word, therefore I would like you all to carefully read a paragraph copied at the link of EU (here)

Ok, after this clear description of what EU wanted, and would like to be, let’s go back to what has been the discussion of this week in the EU parliament:
The EU wants a quick decision on a new law that will force governments to share air passenger data. The draft bill, first proposed in 2011, is being looked at again after the Paris attacks amid fears about returning jihadists from Syria. A committee of MEPs rejected the legislation in 2013.
Now, after the above sentence, allowed me to exclaim… ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WHAT THE @@@@@@ IS THIS DISCUSSION?
In my perception, when talking about “UNITY”, it should be compulsory to have such unity also and especially in these matters that really concern people… so as I underline on the paragraph copied by EU site “People are concerned about how to protect the environment and also how Europeans can act together when it comes to security and defence matters“, security and defence should not be matter of discussion, not anymore! but “apparently” this is not the actual status
If we, EUROPEAN CITIZENS, want to be safe and protected, we need to act in order to be safe and protected, all together, like if we where just a “single nation”.
Nowadays, when we are already talking of EU, it is not anymore the time to claim for this kind of “privacy right”; in instance, in each single Nation of the European Union, police forces have the right to control anybody, have the right to exchange information between police stations etc. So why, if we live in the EU, we still have to authorise police forces to investigate on European people (and anybody traveling or visiting Europe)?
Meanwhile in EU we still have a lot of discussion on the scan of finger print, when anybody travel to USA, or UAE etc, hi/she has to provide his/her fingerprint! why not in EU?
Although I agree with people that claim for privacy, although I agree with people that concern about a miss use (or abuse) of certain “Control powers”, I strongly believe that we need to understand what are the proper boundaries of privacy. In a society, where our credit card, cell phone, TV subscription, Internet etc etc, collect millions of data in order to provide better Info to whom will sell or advertise goods, I remained stunned when people believe that the same information cannot be freely provided to police forces.
Probably people and especially our politicians prefer to suffer of a terroristic attack rather than understand that sometime we need to give something in order to receive something! and Safety and security is way more important than not tell police that I am in paris or in Rome. it will anyway show up as soon as I connect in Internet!!!!
As final consideration, and in the hope that some Politic responsible for these decision read my article, I personally prefer police to know my movement within EU rather than see soldiers patrolling my city streets!
As the fight to ISIS keep going on, many sad and bad news are coming out.
On the attached article you will read about (in this case) “former” French soldiers (also coming from SF Units) joining ISIS Forces.
I personally feel frustrated by such news. If in one hand I expected such event (Is not only because they where soldiers that shouldn’t join the “dark side”), on the other hand, to think that well prepared Soldiers are joining the bad cause can only raise my concern!
My primary concern stand in the fact that ISIS personnel will surely exploit their knowledge and experience in order to better fight the “Coalition Forces'”; than, as second step, they will probably create special cells within the Jihadists, which will be able to operate autonomously and perpetrate simple or even complex operations in order to attack any possible target around the world!
My secondary concern stand in the media effect; having Special forces Joining the ISIS could become that good incentive to let many other (for the moment not yet decided or sure) to join the ISIS cause!
I personally have not a real solution to this situation; have been demonstrated that are not only muslims deciding to join ISIS, but also (and especially) converted to Islam, that normally follow the extremism path. And we all know that a person motivated by “faith” can be way more drastic in his/her decision than a person motivated by any other thing!
The EU’s foreign policy chief, Federica Mogherini, said: “It is not an issue between Europe, or the West, and Islam.
I agree with what EU foreign ministers states in this interview. We cannot condemn all Islam about the terroristic attacks, and probably involve them (the eIslamic world) in the fight against ISIL could be a good solution.
But, (because there is a but), in order to do so, we really need to trust our Islamic counterpart, and being sure that none of them will suddenly change their mind and move in favour of ISIL.
One thing is sure, if we don’t want to fight a “work to the terrorist” in our own countries, and if we don’t want create a real and permanent clash with the Islamic word, we need to find the right path!
Meanwhile EU is now focussing on internal Terrorism matters, the Ukrainian situation don’t change.

After heavy fighting over the weekend the Ukrainian government claims its soldiers have retaken control of large parts of the airport inDonetsk, the eastern city at the centre of the pro-Russian rebellion.
Video claimed to have been filmed inside the terminal at the weekend showed what appeared to be organised and well-equipped pro-Russian rebels. The airport has been been closed since early last year when they took control of the site.
