An ISIS general once pictured decapitating a prisoner is back in Europe with up to 400 of his most trusted soldiers after fleeing the war zone in Syria, it has been claimed.

Ex-NATO soldier Lavdrim Muhaxheri and his men are among thousands who have fled after ISIS suffered devastating losses in war-torn Syria, according to sources in the Italian intelligence services.

Many of the fighters are feared to have disguised themselves as refugees in order to cross borders to get into Europe without being identified, according to information leaked from the spying agency.

Muhaxheri, also known as Abu Abdullah al Kosova, is not only a Kosovo Albanian ISIS leader but also one of the most public figures because of his foreign roots and his efforts to recruit other foreign jihadi fighters.

He left for Syria in late 2012 and has appeared in several propaganda videos, calling Albanians to join jihad, and has uploaded photographs of himself appearing to decapitate a man, as well as a video where he kills a captive with a rocket.

On September 24, 2014, the US State Department designated Muhaxheri as a global terrorist.

Italian newspaper ‘L’Espresso’, quoting the intelligence services, said that between 300 and 400 members of the Islamic ‘caliphate’ had come to Kosovo with him.

His arrival coincided with plans for an attack on Israel’s national soccer team and other targets which he is believed to have masterminded after arriving back in the country.

Prosecutors say Muhaxheri and fellow ISIS fighter Ridvan Haqifi planned attacks on international and state institutions, ultimately with the intent to establish an Islamic state.

They say he planned to attack the Israeli football team during a match in Albania and Kosovo government institutions, as well as Serbian Orthodox Church sites, were also potential targets.

In total 19 people were arrested as a result of the plot being uncovered, with the trail to the mastermind reportedly leading back to Muhaxheri.

Quoting an unnamed security source the paper said: ‘Numerous jihadists are returning to Europe and the Balkans, aiming to hit the old continent at its heart. Some of them are being identified by security services, but many others manage to cross the borders without being identified.’

The Italian intelligence reports however have so far been rejected by Kosovo police, who despite admitting that he was probably behind the attacks, insisted that their information was that he was still in Syria.

It is not the first time he has managed to sneak back into the country. He managed to get back into Kosovo in 2013 and was photographed to prove that he was there, but then he returned to Syria again before he could be arrested.

Is the OSCE still relevant?

On this week’s “Conflict Zone,” Lamberto Zannier, OSCE Secretary General, discusses how his organization can maintain relevance in a world with aggressive states, brutal dictators and a troubling political landscape.

The Cold War is slowly coming back to life, with the conflict in Ukraine simmering, Russia buzzing American warships in the Baltic and Soviet-era bombers lurking near European airspace.

“Geopolitics are back,” Lamberto Zannier, Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), said on DW’s Conflict Zone with Michel Friedman. “We see competition, we see confrontation, we see lack of confidence in Europe. We also see a problem of lack of reconciliation after the end of the Cold War.”

Zannier is stuck in the middle, trying to be impossibly diplomatic. He is tasked with confronting human rights abuses and military aggression while staying on the good side of 57 countries that make up the largest intergovernmental organization in the world, including Russia, Ukraine, the United States and all 28 EU member states.

The question is, can an organization with such a broad mandate be successful at keeping peace, strengthening democracy and bridging divides?

Is the OSCE effective in Ukraine?

On April 28, the OSCE warned of a “blatant disregard” of peace agreements in Ukraine. With the conflict in eastern Ukraine ongoing since the Minsk agreement was signed in September 2014, the organization’s warning is sounding more and more like a broken record.

“It is difficult for the international community – and this is not only the OSCE – to stop a conflict of this magnitude,” Zannier said on Conflict Zone, defending the OSCE’s response to the crisis.

The OSCE has more than 700 monitors on the ground but they often have difficulty even observing effectively. Out of 37 land crossing points between Russia and Ukraine, OSCE observers are allowed at just two.

‘We are frustrated’

“We are frustrated because we would like to have access everywhere,” Zannier said. “We don’t have access everywhere but we have access to lots of places.”

Part of the issue is that observation missions like the one in Ukraine must be approved by consensus of all countries, so Zannier must remain extremely diplomatic.

“It’s more difficult to operate by consensus,” Zannier said. “It takes more time.”

It also takes speaking extremely carefully. At one point, Friedman asked Zannier if member states like Poland and the Baltics were right to be afraid of a Russian aggression.

“I think the concerns are legitimate and we are taking them into account, too,” Zannier said.

“So what does it mean: ‘taking concerns into account?'” Friedman asked.

“This means that I give them a platform to clarify, and, first of all, to express their concerns, and then to discuss them with everybody else,” Zannier responded.

Could the OSCE push harder for democracy and human rights?

The OSCE isn’t just a security organization, their mandate also extends to “respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms, including the freedom of thought.”

On Conflict Zone, Friedman pressed Zannier on where the organization stands: “Are we talking about a Russian version of human rights? Are we talking about a Kazakh version of democracy? A Turkish one? Or perhaps western principles? I mean, which is it?”

“There is not a single model of democracy,” Zannier responded. “So democracy must take into account culture, history, social aspects of each of the countries. So there isn’t a blueprint that can be applied. (…) Democracy is work in progress.”

Zannier has worked in international diplomacy for his entire career, starting out in the Italian foreign service, working through positions at the United Nations and OSCE, with a focus on arms control and security issues. He was appointed Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Kosovo from 2008 to 2011. He took office as Secretary General of the OSCE on July 1, 2011.

L’uccellino e l’Immigrato … Parabola sull’immigrazione devastante!

Buon giorno, oggi voglio proporvi questo breve racconto, sicuramente molto “educativo” in merito alle vicende (non certo felici) che gravano sul nostro Patrio Suolo!

Si parla di immigrazione, di come la percepiamo e la subiamo, ma in una chiave (a mio parere) molto comprensibile anche ai più caritatevoli.

Tempo fa mi comprai una mangiatoia per uccelli.

L’appesi nel mio portico e la riempii di semi.

Era proprio una bella mangiatoia ed era uno spettacolo… anche per i miei figli, ai quali dava l’opportunità di vedere gli uccellini da vicino.

danilo-amlotti.com l'uccellino e l'immigrato-pigeons_1__800_800Entro una settimana, grazie al costante rifornimento di cibo gratuito ottenibile senza fatica alcuna, la mangiatoia divenne costantemente visitata da almeno un centinaio di uccellini.

Ovviamente, il rifornimento costante di cibo gratuito e in abbondanza, fece si che molti di quegli uccellini cominciassero a fare i loro nidi sotto il portico, poi sulla tenda, poi vicino al barbecue, e persino sul tavolino!

l'uccellino e l'immigrato danilo-amelotti.comPoi arrivò la cacca. Era visibile ovunque, sulle tegole del portico, sulle sedie, sul tavolo da pranzo… e con la cacca venne anche il puzzo ed il rischio di malattie!

A poco a poco la situazione iniziò a degenerare, ed alcuni uccelli iniziarono ad essere cattivi.  Infatti, essi ormai vedevano quella mangiatoia allargata come la LORO casa, e quindi si lanciavano su di me cercando di beccarmi e di allontanarmi, anche se in realtà ero io che li nutrivo pagando di tasca mia.

Molti uccellini, sicuri dell’ormai “LORO” dimora, divennero rumorosi e prepotenti; si appollaiavano sulla mangiatoia e fischiavano e pigolavano a tutte le ore giorno e della notte affinché io riempissi la mangiatoia. La situazione perdurò fino al punto che non riuscivo nemmeno più a sedermi nel mio bel portico.

Così, nonostante io amassi gli uccellini, e capissi i loro bisogni fui costretto a prendere una decisione… rimuovere definitivamente quella bella mangiatoia.

Dopo appena tre giorni gli uccellini se ne andarono; non meritava forse più stare in quel bel portico… ed io non ero certo un loro “amico”!

Allora feci pulizia e misi tutto in ordine facendo sparire anche i nidi da tutto il portico.

Ben presto il mio portico tornò ad essere quello che era prima: un posto tranquillo e sereno senza schiamazzi per reclamare “il diritto al cibo gratis.”

Ora, riflettiamo.

Noi abbiamo ottenuto con il nostro lavoro ed i nostri sacrifici un sistema con molti diritti: cure mediche gratuite, scuole gratuite, assegni per i meno abbienti, case popolari a prezzi bassissimi e permettiamo a chiunque nasce qui di essere automaticamente cittadino del nostro Paese.

Poi sono arrivati gli illegali a decine, centinaia di migliaia, che  godono degli stessi vantaggi.

Per pagare le maggiori spese noi dobbiamo pagare più tasse.

Le case popolari vengono occupate con la forza e nessuno ne paga il canone.

Se andate ad un pronto soccorso dovrete aspettare ore per essere visitato poiché gli ospedali sono diventati un rifugio per extracomunitari.

Vostro figlio alle elementari avrà grossi problemi perchè metà della classe non parla Italiano e la mensa scolastica verrà condizionata da assurdi divieti religiosi.

Vengono tolti i Crocefissi e non si celebra il Natale per “non urtare la sensibilità” degli stranieri senza alcun rispetto per la nostra: ovvero quella dei padroni di casa!!!!!!

La criminalità spicciola, quella che se la prende con la gente comune (noi) e i deboli è al 75% (opera del 10% della popolazione (gli stranieri)) e le carceri sono così piene che i delinquenti vengono

rimessi in circolazione, e subito, ricominciano a rubare e a violentare.

E se si cerca di arginare il fenomeno ecco levarsi la protesta di molti “caritatevoli cechi e strumentalizzati da molti” che gridano alla violazione dei diritti civili (degli altri perché dei nostri diritti gli stessi “…. ” se ne fregano!!).

E’ solo la mia opinione ma forse è giunto il momento per il nostro Governo di togliere la mangiatoia e fare pulizia.

Se siete d’accordo fate girare.

Se non lo siete continuate a pulire la cacca!”

attenzione a non strumentalizzare questa parabola.  Nessuno parla ne di violenza ne di scagliarsi sugli immigrati!  Loro sono umani come noi, e da tali vanno trattati.  Ma anche noi siamo UMANI come loro, ed abbiamo il diritto ed il dovere di tutelare la nostra casa!

MISSIONE DI PEACE KEEPING? DEVE ESSERE UNO SCHERZO! L’Italia farà guerra alla Libia? | Sostenitori delle Forze dell’Ordine

Oggi credo di aver sentito abbastanza battute sulla situazione in Libia!

Al termine dell’articolo che segue leggerete tutti che Secondo fonti vicine a Palazzo Chigi, il premier Matteo Renzi starebbe valutando la possibilità di intraprendere “una missione di peacekeeping con le bandiere dell’Onu, ma guidata dall’Italia”. Non è, infatti, escluso che, nel giro di qualche mese, l’Italia possa “intervenire con propri militari in una missione dai contorni per ora non definibili”. Ma una missione di peacekeeping basta per pacificare i tagliagole islamici?

Ora vorrei io rispondere alla domanda con un altra domanda:  Ma stiamo scherzando?  ma e’ una burla toscana o veramente stiamo pensando ad una missione di Peace Keeping?

Probabilmente dal basso della mia “finestra popolare” non vedo situazioni che invece sono chiare ai nostri Politici; Infatti, mentre loro (i politici) vedrebbero l’Italia a guida di una missione di “mantenimento della pace”, io vedo la necessita’ di fermare delle forze nemiche che tutto hanno tranne che la voglia di sedersi ad un tavolino per parlare di Pace. L’ISIS, Ansar al Sharia, e Alba Libica non sono certo delle normali “fazioni in lotta per una porzione di territorio”, ma bensì‘ delle forze ben organizzate e con intenzioni decisamente sia bellicose sia di conquista.  No signori miei, li non abbiamo da andare a mantenere la pace… quella mossa avremmo dovuto farla quando l’ex presidente francese Nicolas Sarkozy decise di eliminare chi quella terra era riuscito a tenerla in pace il rais Muhammar Gheddafi.  Ma non ne fummo capaci, ed al solito, come in un treno senza freni, accettammo che altre nazioni decidessero della nostra sicurezza nazionale, andando a creare scompiglio a pochi passi da casa nostra. 

Ora, quando i militanti di ISIS hanno invaso punti strategici e determinanti per il controllo del territorio Libico, quando ormai iniziamo realmente a sentire il fiato sul collo, invece di dire chiaramente che l’Italia non permetterà’ ad alcun buzzurro di minacciare la nostra amata Italia, parlano di operazioni Onu, parlano di missioni di mantenimento della pace… Scusatemi, ma se vogliamo fare un paragone, parlare di un azione in Libia ipotizzando una missione di mantenimento della pace sotto egida ONU, e’ come parlare di estirpare un cancro con l’aspirina!

Allora, sempre dalla mia “finestra popolare” penso sia il caso che i nostri politici abbandonino i toni politicamente corretti, ed inizino a cercare tra gli uomini delle nostre Forze Armate dei seri consiglieri, non a caccia di un futuro posto politico,  bensì’ professionalmente preparate ed amanti della patria e della Bandiera.  Allora forse, le idee si chiariranno, e tutti si renderanno conto che per fermare quei terroristi non serve una missione di pace, ma una missione di guerra!

Vi lascio come al solito all’articolo dal quale ho preso spunto, vi consiglio di leggerlo bene e capire ciò’ che, seppur non scritto, si può facilmente intuire “tra le righe”.

Palazzo Chigi valuta la possibilità di intraprendere una missione di peacekeeping con le bandiere dell’Onu, ma guidata dall’Italia. Nei prossimi mesi i nostri militari potrebbero essere inviati in Libia. Ma con quali regole di ingaggio? I miliziani libici legati allo Stato islamico hanno preso il controllo di Sirte stabilendo il quartier generale in una radio locale nel centro della città costiera a 500 chilometri a est di Tripoli. Il timore è che possano proclamare l’emirato islamico di Sirte, sulla scia di quanto già fatto a Derna.

Il rischio per l’Italia di finire sotto il tiro dei missili dei jihadisti libici si fa, giorno dopo giorno, sempre più concreto. Anche per questo motivo il ministro degli Esteri Paolo Gentiloni ha avvertito che il governo è pronto a intervenire militarmente in Libia, “naturalmente nel quadro della legalità internazionale”, ossia in caso di intervento sotto l’ombrello Onu.

La Libia paga ora il prezzo della forsennata guerra voluta dall’allora presidente francese Nicolas Sarkozy contro il rais Muhammar Gheddafi. La Primavera araba ha messo in sella un governo debole e litigioso aprendo così la strada al jihadismo che ha trovato nello Stato islamico del califfo Abu Bakr al Baghdadi. La Libia è uno Stato fallito. Qui l’Isis può avere buon gioco. Sui siti jihadisti sono apparse foto di uomini armati di kalashnikov seduti di fronte ai microfoni nello studio di registrazione. “Hanno conquistato Radio Sirte – ha riferito un residente – da allora hanno mandato in onda versetti del Corano e discorsi di al Baghadi”. Un ex funzionario statale teme che i jihadisti “possano avvantaggiarsi dell’assenza di qualsiasi autorità centrale governativa per trasformare la città in un emirato islamico come hanno fatto a Derna”. La situazione, però, ha aggiunto, è più complessa di quanto non possa sembrare.

Diversi gruppi radicali hanno, infatti, i propri bastioni a Sirte. Tra questi ci sono anche Ansar al Sharia, gruppo terroristico nella lista nera di Usa e Onu, e Alba Libica, coalizione che già controlla parte di Sirte.

Il dato più drammatico è che, con la presa di Sirte, i jihadisti vicini allo Stato islamico si trovano a un tiro di schioppo dall’Italia. Appena 500 chilometri. “In Libia – ha finalmente ammesso Gentiloni – comincia a esserci una minaccia terroristica finora abbastanza circoscritta a Derna e in alcune zone del sud”. L’Italia sostiene già la mediazione dell’Onu che sta cercando di riconciliare le due diverse forze del Paese. Ma, se non dovesse riuscire nella mediazione, il governo Renzi sarebbe pronto a fare “qualcosa di più”. Secondo fonti vicine a Palazzo Chigi, il premier Matteo Renzi starebbe valutando la possibilità di intraprendere “una missione di peacekeeping con le bandiere dell’Onu, ma guidata dall’Italia”. Non è, infatti, escluso che, nel giro di qualche mese, l’Italia possa “intervenire con propri militari in una missione dai contorni per ora non definibili”. Ma una missione di peacekeeping basta per pacificare i tagliagole islamici?

Certo, quando nel 2011, una “congrega” di nazioni ha deciso che Gheddafi doveva essere deposto, già’ avevo ipotizzato il possibile futuro di quella Nazione!

Nel mentre che gli anni passavano, e molte notizie (talvolta molto contrastanti) provenivano dalla “Nuova Libia”, l’ISIS si materializzava sugli scacchieri internazionali, proclamando continuamente le loro intenzioni di muovere prima verso la Libia e poi in Europa.

Certo non potevamo pensare che rimando a guardare da una Platea apparentemente sicura,L’ISIS si sarebbe spento e la situazione si sarebbe normalizzata!

Ed eccoci qua oggi, dopo molte minacce, dopo il Libro nero, e dopo che tutti (tranne i Giordani mossi comunque da spirito di vendetta) hanno inspiegabilmente esitato ad intervenire con il “pugno di ferro” , la notizia che i militanti di ISIS siano definitivamente sul territorio Libico, e probabilmente in possesso di missili scud (che onestamente non fanno tutta la paura che i media vorrebbero suscitare) suscita improvvisamente timori!

Personalmente, e’ ormai diverso tempo che (associandomi a molti altri) affermo che sarebbe l’ora di smettere di avere paura, ed incominciare a mostrare i denti!  ora spero solo che non aspettino dell’altro a far decollare i nostri aerei e dimostrare finalmente di che pasta sono fatte le nostre forze armate!

Al-Baghdadi ha ordinato alla popolazione di Sirte di sottomettersi ai jihadisti di Ansar al-Sharia. Il rischio di avere le truppe fedeli al sedicente Stato Islamico alle nostre porte: solo 450 km separano Libia e Italia, Sicilia sotto il raggio dei missili (ammesso e non concesso ne abbiano). I jihadisti prendono il controllo di una radio nella città natale di Muhammar Gheddafi. Roma – Un sostenitore del sedicente ‘califfato’ islamico ha pubblicato sul proprio account Twitter una mappa in cui ha evidenziato che “la distanza tra Roma e Sirte è di 1.250 chilometri, come quella che separa (le due città saudite, ndr) Jeddah e Dammam“.  Un missile “Scud può arrivare” fino in Italia – ha aggiunto l’utente che si chiama ‘Qalam hur’ – ricordando che Sirte dista 450 chilometri dalla Sicilia.

La ‘riflessione’ avviene a poche ore dall’annuncio della “conquista” di Sirte, città della Libia centro-settentrionale, ad opera dei jihadisti di Ansar al-Sharia, affiliata al sedicente Stato Islamico.

Così oggi pomeriggio l’ambasciata italiana a Tripoli ha invitato i connazionali presenti in Libia a lasciare temporaneamente il Paese, alla luce di una situazione sul terreno che si fa sempre più critica per l’avanzata jihadista. Già il primo febbraio scorso il sito Viaggiare Sicuri ribadiva “il pressante invito ai connazionali a non recarsi in Libia e a quelli tuttora presenti a lasciare temporaneamente il Paese“.

A Sirte Ansar al-Sharia ha posto oggi il proprio quartier generale, stante a quanto riferito in rete da alcuni siti jihadisti, diffondendo fotografie che mostrano degli uomini armati davanti ai microfoni dell’emittente mentre brandiscono i loro kalashnikov.

Città natale di Muammar Gheddafi, Sirte è diventata una roccaforte dei gruppi radicali, tra cui Ansar al Sharia (“Partigiani della Legge di Dio”) dopo la caduta del regime nel 2011.

“Radio Sirte, radio Macmadas e Al-Turathiya hanno diffuso un discorso di Baghdadi nel quale ordina alla popolazione di Sirte di sottomettersi“, hanno riferito i media locali. Ma secondo alcuni osservatori indipendenti, questo discorso è estratto dal ‘sermone’ con cui Baghdadi annunciava la nascita del califfato alcuni mesi fa e quindi non sarebbe stato scritto specificatamente per la popolazione di Sirte. Rientrerebbe nella strategia di guerra psicologica lanciata ad ampio spettro sia verso l’interno, tra la popolazione libica, che verso l’Italia, attraverso una sapiente strategia di gestione delle partenze dei migranti verso le coste italiane.

Gli attivisti hanno riferito anche che alcune radio locali hanno trasmesso il Corano salmodiato e inni al sedicente Stato Islamico. In precedenza, milizie jihadiste avevano assaltato l’Ufficio passaporti di Sirte, chidendolo e impadronendosi dei timbri e delle apparecchiature, intimando ai dipendenti di “pentirsi” per non essere accusati di apostasia: reato che comporta l’immediata esecuzione capitale, nella barbarie islamista.

Due giorni fa, l’ex premier libico Ali Zeidan – che vive in Europa dallo scorso anno, ossia da quando il suo governo fu sfiduciato dal parlamento – ha affermato che la presenza del cosiddetto Stato Islamico va rafforzandosi in tutta la Libia e in particolare lungo la costa del Mediterraneo. In un’intervista al Times, l’ex premier aveva affermato che la fascia costiera del Paese entro “un mese o due mesi” potrebbe essere completamente in mano ai jihadisti.

Dice testualmente un loro comunicato che ci vuole poco «per arrivare in Europa» con i migranti e «trasformarla in inferno». «Se riusciremo a sfruttare questo canale, la situazione in questi Paesi si trasformerà in un inferno». Another Belgian jihadist with a high profile is Abdelhamid Abaaoud, a 27-year-old Belgian of Moroccan descent from a suburb of Brussels. An ISIS video posted in March last year shows him in a truck towing four dead bodies away in the aftermath of a massacre. Abaaoud’s 13-year old brother also arrived in Syria later — to become reputedly the youngest foreign fighter there.

Belgian analyst and historian Pieter Van Ostaeyen says jihadists help each other with travel advice through social media.

One posted on Facebook: “Everything you need is available here, be it clothes or things for your home, we have everything.” And a tip: “Don’t behave like a warrior. Shave your beards, behave like tourists and buy tickets back and forth.”

Precise figures on the number of Europeans who have gone to Iraq and Syria — and which groups they have joined — are hard to come by. The consensus among counter-terrorism analysts is that more than 3,000 have traveled, of whom 500 have returned, including up to 70 who have come back to Belgium.

BBC News – Greek fighter jet crashes in Spain killing 10 people

Ten people have been killed and 13 injured at a military base in Spain, when a Greek fighter jet lost power and crashed into other aircraft parked on the ground.

The incident happened during a NATO training exercise. Both pilots were killed.

I do not want to step into politics, but allowed me to provide an harsh comment to the EU counter terrorism Project (and of course actual status)!

As short introduction, I think important to underline how and when Europe got the “Union” word, therefore I would like you all to carefully read a paragraph copied at the link of EU (here)

People are concerned about how to protect the environment and also how Europeans can act together when it comes to security and defence matters. A small village in Luxembourg gives its name to the ‘Schengen’ agreements that gradually allow people to travel without having their passports checked at the borders. Millions of young people study in other countries with EU support. Communication is made easier as more and more people start using mobile phones and the internet.”

Ok, after this clear description of what EU wanted, and would like to be, let’s go back to what has been the discussion of this week in the EU parliament:

The EU wants a quick decision on a new law that will force governments to share air passenger data. The draft bill, first proposed in 2011, is being looked at again after the Paris attacks amid fears about returning jihadists from Syria. A committee of MEPs rejected the legislation in 2013.

Now, after the above sentence, allowed me to exclaim… ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WHAT THE @@@@@@ IS THIS DISCUSSION?

In my perception, when talking about “UNITY”, it should be compulsory to have such unity also and especially in these matters that really concern people… so as I underline on the paragraph copied by EU site “People are concerned about how to protect the environment and also how Europeans can act together when it comes to security and defence matters“, security and defence should not be matter of discussion, not anymore! but “apparently” this is not the actual status

If we, EUROPEAN CITIZENS, want to be safe and protected, we need to act in order to be safe and protected, all together, like if we where just a “single nation”.

Nowadays, when we are already talking of EU, it is not anymore the time to claim for this kind of “privacy right”; in instance, in each single Nation of the European Union, police forces have the right to control anybody, have the right to exchange information between police stations etc. So why, if we live in the EU, we still have to authorise police forces to investigate on European people (and anybody traveling or visiting Europe)?

Meanwhile in EU we still have a lot of discussion on the scan of finger print, when anybody travel to USA, or UAE etc, hi/she has to provide his/her fingerprint! why not in EU?

Although I agree with people that claim for privacy, although I agree with people that concern about a miss use (or abuse) of certain “Control powers”, I strongly believe that we need to understand what are the proper boundaries of privacy.  In a society, where our credit card, cell phone, TV subscription, Internet etc etc, collect millions of data in order to provide better Info to whom will sell or advertise goods, I remained stunned when people believe that the same information cannot be freely provided to police forces.

Probably people and especially our politicians prefer to suffer of a terroristic attack rather than understand that sometime we need to give something in order to receive something! and Safety and security is way more important than not tell police that I am in paris or in Rome.  it will anyway show up as soon as I connect in Internet!!!!

As final consideration, and in the hope that some Politic responsible for these decision read my article, I personally prefer police to know my movement within EU rather than see soldiers patrolling my city streets!

Former French soldiers, including Special Forces, join ISIS

As the fight to ISIS keep going on, many sad and bad news are coming out.

On the attached article you will read about (in this case) “former” French soldiers (also coming from SF Units) joining ISIS Forces.

I personally feel frustrated by such news.  If in one hand I expected such event (Is not only because they where soldiers that shouldn’t join the “dark side”), on the other hand, to think that well prepared Soldiers are joining the bad cause can only raise my concern!

My primary concern stand in the fact that ISIS personnel will surely exploit their knowledge and experience in order to better fight the “Coalition Forces'”;  than, as second step, they will probably create special cells within the Jihadists, which will be able to operate autonomously and perpetrate simple or even complex operations in order to attack any possible target around the world!

My secondary concern stand in the media effect;  having Special forces Joining the ISIS could become that good incentive to let many other (for the moment not yet decided or sure) to join the ISIS cause!

I personally have not a real solution to this situation; have been demonstrated that are not only muslims deciding to join ISIS, but also (and especially) converted to Islam, that normally follow the extremism path. And we all know that a person motivated by “faith” can be way more drastic in his/her decision than a person motivated by any other thing!
