A very interesting article that probably do not answer to the initial question, but that help us to storm around the issue, and to raise a better knowledge of it.
Security, especially within the “net”, becomes day by day more important, especially when it is very often forced on behalf of “marketing and authentication”.
I could personally affirm that behind the two words (or reasons to force security) Marketing and Authentication, we are giving space to the most modern Trojan Horse.
All our data, habits, tastes, personal informations, etc. are today given in order to access special or customised services, but at the same time are also “not anymore private, therefore secure”.
In conclusion, the very last sentence/question of this article reveal the real issue: Is there a balance? my answer is “unfortunately NOT”.
